Myth & Beauty Rhodes
As god father Zeus once distributed the earth under the
gods of the Olymp, sun god Helios directed his sunwagon
straight over the sky -
As legend, helios appears in the morning,
with a wagon of four fervid horses in
the east, drives with them the sky along,
until he sinks into the sea in the west!
When Helios also comes later, after the sunset, the entire
country was already divided between the gods.
He complains about that, but if Zeus would like to repeat
the division, he doesn´t want that again.
But he had a request: He had seen a rank island growing
up from the sea. This one he would like to exhibit.
Until this time, he was the protection god of the island.

Rhodes - a good choice!
Sure, the island means Rhodes! And that helios had
made a perfect choice, annually 1,3 mio. vacationer
could acknowledge.
Visitors from all of the world lure themselves by the
beautiful weather and indulge oneself, at 260 sun days
in the year, of the warm actinism.
Beside the blue sky, fantastic beaches and bays, with
various watersports possibilities , the island has got to
offer sumptuous plant stature. Contrary to other
Greek islands, Rhodes provide more than only naked
rock and scant vegetation.
Varied sights - museums, villages, churches, monasteries
and historical ruin cities - inspire, like last but not
least, the medieval capital Rhodes, with partly oriental,
partly occidental influences and their unmistakable charm.
Here everybody will find something after his fancy -
If family bathing fun or lively beach pleasure,
shoppen in one of the tourist centers or stroll
by the glamorous Old Town.
If active nightlife in one of the innumerable bars, cafes
and discos or culinary cosiness in the tavern,
if pictorial nature or cultural event -
because of the enormous variety the island Rhodos can
offer a lot of alternation & variety mixes!
